A client ask me to embroider a blanket for her grandchild. The baby is not here yet but they know it is a girl. I thought I would add a little something to the order. I love using the Lacy Girl font (can't remember the digitizers name) and Monogram Wizard's Party Time font, so I put it on a diaper longways to use as a burp cloth.
Now I guess I should try to make a card to go along with it.

Lacy Girl font is a favorite font of mine too. I wonder what it would look like on a scarf.
Those are so cute, Glenda! Are those fonts you downloaded from a site, or are they on a program you have? Also, I was wondering if you use fast frames or just the hoops that came with your machine?
Hi Glenda, I have Monogram Wizard that I use alot, but the Lacy Girl font I downloaded from Sewforum, I think. I can't remember the digitizers name.
I mostly use a fast frame system made by Hoop Tech. I love them. I do hoop shirts using Hoop Master and I hoop sticky paper to use with embroidable paper. I use the paper for inserts with cups and debit/checkbook holders. I also hoop a water soluble for freestanding lace projects. That's about all I use the hoops that came with the machine.
I belong to ATW Artistic EmbroideryThreadworks web site. You may be familar with them. Pay a fee but the designs are to download. There are others that I have used like Embroidery Library, Ann The Gran, FiveStarFonts, The Yummy Factory, just to name a few. I don't download too much anymore....have more designs now than I could ever stitch out. In fact, I am looking for a particular design that I have used before for a client, but I can't find it. Very frustrating...too many designs to search through and can't remember where I got it.
Do you live in Texas? I love Texas. I spent most of my school years in West Texas and North Texas; Electra near Wichita Falls. Thanks for following me. You have a very nice site.
Glenda
